Adopt a Family for Christmas
Over the past decade, Advocacy Outreach has matched families who want to share their experience of childhood Christmases with other families. For some of us, Christmas was a time of excitement, magic, and joy. For parents in families who are struggling, financially, Christmas can be a time of worry and, for their children, disappointment. Advocacy Outreach joins donors with families in need to provide Christmas gifts to children.
Individuals and families from Elgin, Bastrop, Manor and Round Rock have “adopted” families. Also, civic organizations, faith-based groups, and school groups in Central Texas have “adopted.” Donors may select to help any size family—from one child to several. Advocacy Outreach manages an application process, interviews applicants and matches requesting families with donors.
